    I want to gain confidence in my models of SiC arresters.  Does anyone have independent sources of information on this modeling in EMTP, or EMTP Version 3?

    The example in the help section of Sic arrester (Sic90.ecf) give very good results compare to laboratory tests. You can extrapolate the value of the coefficient R in proportion to the nominal voltage of the arrester.
