Training: Get Started with EMTP – Beginners
March 31
$300
Overview
This training will be held in English.
This course is designed to help participants gain a solid foundation in electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation using EMTP®. By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
-
Understand the fundamentals of EMT simulation
-
Create and configure circuits in EMTP®
-
Simulate and visualize waveforms
-
Model key power system components
No prior experience is required – the course includes hands-on exercises and guided examples to build both theoretical understanding and practical skills.
Computer and temporary EMTP® licenses
Every participant is required to bring their own personal computer. Temporary EMTP® licenses will be provided to participants for the course’s duration.
Intended audience
- T&D electrical engineers
- Consultants
- Industry electrical engineers
