    Is there any way to apply an internal short-circuit at stator windings (at a certain percentage of the windings) in a synchronous machine?

    You would have to use the phase-domain synchronous machine (PDSM) and split one winding in 2 to apply the fault. This machine model is available on our exchange plateform.
