I’m dealing with fast transient from lighning strikes.
One of my Flashover switches flashes over at a voltage which is much lower than its set flashover voltage.
This seems to be related to calculation step, as the smaller the step, the closer the flashover is to Vflash.
Nontheless, the flashover takes place (significantly) before the voltage reaches its Vflash value. Is this because the flashover also depends on voltage derivative?
