SUMMARY:Inverter Based Resources (IBR) integration studies
DESCRIPTION:Inverter Based Resources (IBR) integration studies \nObjectives\nThe objective of these workshops is to familiarize attendees with EMT simulations of IBRs and grid integration analysis.\nEMTP® is used for all simulations and illustration examples. Practical test cases are provided to illustrate the various concepts. \n\nTraining structure\nThis training is divided in 2 workshops. The two workshops are independent\, even though it is recommended to participate in both of them.\nThe complete training duration is 2 days.\nIt starts at 8:30 am and ends at 12:00 pm on both days.\nBreakfast will be available. \nIntended audience\nThis course is intended for engineers\, researchers\, operators and maintenance personnel. It provides an up-to-date technical expertise on renewable energy integration projects. \nComputer and temporary EMTP® license\nEach participant will have to bring a personal computer. EMTP® temporary licenses will be provided for the duration of the course. \n\nProgram\nDay 1:\n Workshop 1 focuses on traditional EMT analysis applied to IBR. The content is: \n\nIBR modeling\nTransformer energization\nFault analysis\nTemporary overvoltage\nHarmonic analysis\n\nDay 2:\nWorkshop 2 focuses on IBR integration into a bulk power system. The content is: \n\nDescription of WECC EMT models\nGrid forming converters\nLoad-flow and steady-state\nStability analysis\nSub-synchronous Control Interaction (SSCI)\n\nContact for training information\nDavid COTTINI | Sales Manager\, EMTP \nEmail: david.cottini@emtp.com \nHenry GRAS | Director of operations\, EMTP \nEmail: henry@emtp.com \nGeneral conditions\nCancellation can be made according to the following conditions: \n\nIn case you cannot attend the training after having registered\, please contact us as soon as possible at marketing@emtp.com\n\nWe recommend you to make your travel arrangements once the training is confirmed. \n************** \nhttps://www.emtp.com/events/trainings
