SUMMARY:Switching & Lightning Transients - Online
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThis training will be held in English. \nThis course is designed to provide a deep understanding of switching and lightning transient phenomena using EMTP®. By the end of the training\, participants will be able to: \n\n\nUnderstand switching and lightning transient phenomena \n\n\nIdentify the challenges involved in transient studies \n\n\nGather and interpret the necessary data for transient studies \n\n\nPerform insulation coordination studies covering switching and lightning \n\n\nThis course includes hands-on exercises and guided examples to build both theoretical understanding and practical skills. \nTraining structure\nThe training lasts for 4 days\, running daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\, except for the first and last days\, which end at 11:00 a.m. The sessions will be conducted in English. \nComputer and temporary EMTP® licenses\nEvery participant is required to bring their own personal computer. Temporary EMTP® licenses will be provided to participants for the course’s duration. \nIntended audience\nThis training is ideal for T&D electrical engineers\, consultants\, industry professionals\, researchers\, and post-graduate students involved in power system studies. \nTicket types\nRegular Ticket (Full Admission) \nIncludes a temporary EMTP® license\, access to live Q&A\, and participation in small hands-on labs with personalized support. Ideal for those who want to actively practice during the training. \nListener Ticket  (Listen Only) \nGrants full access to all presentations and sessions but excludes EMTP® licenses and lab participation.
