SUMMARY:IBR Models Verification & Compliance for Power Systems - Online
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThis training will be held in English. \nThis course is designed to deepen your expertise in EMT Inverter-Based Resource (IBR) models using EMTP®. By the end of the training\, participants will be able to: \n\n\nUnderstand EMT IBR models \n\n\nBuild EMT IBR models effectively \n\n\nChoose the appropriate model for specific studies \n\n\nVerify the quality and conformity of IBR models \n\n\nPerform key EMT studies\, including: \n– LVRT / HVRT \n– Temporary Overvoltages \n– Switching \n– Stability \n– Sub-Synchronous Control Interaction (SSCI) \n\n\nThis course includes hands-on exercises and guided examples to build both theoretical understanding and practical skills. \nTraining structure\nThe training lasts for 5 days\, running daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\, except for the last day\, which ends at 11:00 a.m. The sessions will be conducted in English. \nComputer and temporary EMTP® licenses\nEvery participant is required to bring their own personal computer. Temporary EMTP® licenses will be provided to participants for the course’s duration. \nIntended audience\nThis training is ideal for T&D electrical engineers\, consultants\, industry professionals\, researchers\, and post-graduate students involved in power system studies. \nTicket types\nRegular Ticket (Full Admission) \nIncludes a temporary EMTP® license\, access to live Q&A\, and participation in small hands-on labs with personalized support. Ideal for those who want to actively practice during the training. \nListener Ticket  (Listen Only) \nGrants full access to all presentations and sessions but excludes EMTP® licenses and lab participation.
